Cengkareng Puskesmas Launches Si JET App

The Cengkareng Sub-district Puskesmas, West Jakarta has launched Tuberculosis Network Cycle (Si JET).

Via this application, tuberculosis patients can be treated

According to Nurmari Wahyu Hapsari, Head of Cengkareng Sub-district Puskesmas, Si JET application is one form of innovation in improving health services and optimizing tuberculosis control in Cengkareng area.

Jakarta Targeted to Be Free of Tuberculosis in 2030

"Every cadre, medical officer in private clinics and physician practice who are committed to tuberculosis program, can access this application and report if there are patients suspected of having tuberculosis," he expressed, Monday (7/16).

If the case is detected, his side will conduct bone identification.

"We will re-identify and educate residents in the surrounding environment and families suspected tuberculosis case," he stated.

Based on Health Ministry's Health, there are 30 percent of tuberculosis case in Indonesia and 44 percent have not been reported. Then from Incidence Rate of tuberculosis in Indonesia, there are 391 cases per 100.000 populations.

"Via this application, tuberculosis patients can be treated. But it needs a strong commitment of health and cross-sectoral teams to realize Indonesia free of tuberculosis in 2030," he stated.
